About Our Client :-

Our client is a Global Korean MNC within the Engineering & Construction Industry, under a listed Organisation that has a strong and visible global presence. Our client is on the lookout for a Finance and Administrative Manager as part of their founding team for the newly launched Singapore office. This role promises the unique opportunity to shape and cultivate the business, and will have strong autonomy over the Finance & Admin responsibilities within Singapore.

Job Description :-

Finance & Accounting Operations :-

~ Ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, month-end closures, and reconciliation of balance sheets including accounts payable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card expenses, and cash applications.

~ Oversee the consolidation process to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information for multiple entities.

~ Compile ledger accounts and prepare financial statements.

~ Coordinate the preparation of budgets and forecasts to provide accurate financial projections.

~ Manage cash flow, including executing international wire transfers and forecasting cash requirements.

~ Monitor funds to ensure adequate availability for obligations.

~ Prepare and file tax documents in accordance with relevant IRAS guidelines and regulations.

~ Identify tax risks, develop mitigation strategies, and present tax strategies to management.

~ Handle a variety of tax documentation requests for regular tax audits.

Human Resources :-

~ Support recruitment processes including onboarding and offboarding activities.

~ Implement processes for timesheet management.

~ Manage payroll and personnel information.

Administrative and Secretarial Duties :-

~ Assist with the coordination and scheduling of meetings and appointments.

~ Undertake ad-hoc assignments such as organizing business events, customer visits, and seminars.

~ Handle general secretarial tasks including office supply management and rental item maintenance.

The Successful Applicant :-

~ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

~ At least 5-8 years of experience within Finance & Administration.

~ Proficiency in consolidated accounting and corporate tax practices following IFRS accounting standards.

~ Proficiency in the Korean language is highly beneficial but not a must.

~ Prior experience in launching a new business is highly beneficial.
