About Our Client
My client is a dynamic firm specialising in innovative marketing solutions. With a client-centric approach, they offer creative services in areas of branding, digital marketing etc. Renowned for their agility and strategic thinking, the team is keen to bring on board a Regional Tax Manager to set up the tax function, supporting 11 markets across APAC.
Job Description :-
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will :-
~ Set up the Tax function, responsible for full spectrum of tax matters for the APAC business, covering tax advisory work, tax planning & compliance, transfer pricing etc.
~ Work closely with finance leaders at Headquarters to implement tax strategy and best practices, ensure optimal savings
~ Managing one headcount, you will ensure a robust tax reporting framework, timely submission of statutory reporting, support tax audits
~ Lead tax planning activities for onboarding of new markets, resolve cross boarder tax issues
~ Stay up to date of changes in tax regime and accounting standards, effective application
The Successful Applicant :-
~ Degree qualified in Finance and/or Accounting with at least 8 years of working experience
~ Managed APAC portfolio, combination of working experience with professional accounting firm like Big 4 and MNC
~ Analytical and proactive to propose methods to reduce tax exposure
~ Strong communication skills to engage independently with regional stakeholders and external consultants
~ Technically strong, stays abreast of accounting standards and tax incentives, US GAAP exposure will be highly advantageous
