IT Support Assistant/ Executive Required in Singapore


Job Description

IT Support Assistant/ Executive 

Location: Jurong Area (Nearest MRT: Lakeside) 

Working hours: 5-day work week Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 5.30 pm

Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3300 + Commission + Variable Bonus + 14 days Annual Leave + Medical Benefits 

Duration: Permanent 

Industry: Moving and Logistics Service

 


Main Responsibilities:


Perform Imaging of Apple machines iPads /MacBook 

Know how to reinstall macOS, iOS and Windows 

Coordinate with the operations team for Logistics (when required) 

Regularly check, update, and patch systems to ensure all equipment meets Apple’s standards 

Provide technical support for desktop/ laptop troubleshooting repair and upgrade, network and telephone set up 

Provide technical support for Server maintenance (Windows Server 2003) and network recourses, security and access control (Win 2003 Server, Active Directory) 

Provide technical support for Wired and wireless network, user issues (hardware/software usage) refer to supplier if escalation is needed

Email setup for new iPhone units 

Ensure data backup for sever workstation and MS Outlook mail

Removal of virus/spyware/malware 

Assess and suggest products to improve IT systems and deployment as required by the company

Work with suppliers to handle software/hardware replacements, purchases, or upgrades

Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports.

Manage IT-related contracts and projects for the company

Any other ad-hoc duties related to IT and administration

 


Requirements: 


Minimum diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology 

Minimum one year of relevant experience

Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
