Event Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Plan and organize events such as conferences, meetings, Events.
Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audio-visual requirements.
Communicate with marketing or project team to understand their event needs and provide regular updates on event planning progress.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure necessary services within budgetary constraints.
Create and manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses stay within the allocated budget.
Oversee event setup and ensure that all details are in place according to the client's specifications.
Manage event staff agency, including coordinating schedules and providing guidance to ensure the smooth execution of events.
Handle post-event activities, such as collecting feedback, evaluating event success, and preparing post-event reports.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an event coordinator or in a similar role.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, or related field is preferred.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
Knowledge of industry trends and a network of event-related contacts is a plus.
