The Opportunity

We are partnering a Large Pharma MNC in search for an experienced accountant!

Focus: Support end-to-end financial reporting and tax processes within a dynamic finance team, covering General Ledger, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.

This role plays a key part in ensuring business continuity and having exposure on major SAP migration project will be advantageous.

This is a 12-months contractual assignment (renewable).

The Talent

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Progress toward or completion of a recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA)

At least 5 years of experience in General Ledger, financial reporting, or tax

Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel

Strong communication skills in written and spoken English

Ability to work independently and engage with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a multinational or regional finance team

Hands-on experience with Blackline or similar reconciliation tools

Exposure to internal and external audits, as well as local tax reporting (e.g., IRAS)

Familiarity with internal control frameworks and corporate policies

The Job

Maintain timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with internal and external requirements

Prepare and post journal entries in SAP; reconcile accounts using Blackline

Support statutory audits and prepare financial statements

Coordinate tax filings including corporate, withholding, and indirect taxes

Prepare income and deferred tax provisions and ensure compliance with global reporting standards

Manage documentation for transfer pricing and entity profitability reporting

Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve accounting or tax issues

Perform ad hoc financial analysis and contribute to finance transformation projects
