Adecco is partnering with a Japanese multinational client, and we are currently looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their business.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position requires the incumbent to handle high-volume of purchase orders and strong grounding in Incoterms, international logistics, and cost control. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who enjoys pace, structure, and responsibility.
Permanent and full-time role
Work hours/days: Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Work location: Labrador Park, South-west region
The Job:
Coordinate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
Manage daily shipment activities, including generating and sending purchase orders, inputting data into SAP, arranging sailing schedules, and checking invoices and bills of lading.
Handle supplier and customer relations, managing order backlogs and forecasts.
Oversee inventory control, focusing on temporary stock and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) stock.
Conduct cost analysis, with a focus on cargo and logistics costs.
The Talent:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Team player, strong time management and communication skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge in import/export (Incoterm, Invoice and Packing List etc)
Must be comfortable with working overtime and overseas travel (frequency of 20-30% per year)
