Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager (Marine Navigation Systems)

Location : Bulim Dr- Few bus stops from Boon Lay Interchange

Working hours : 5 days/ (Monday- Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm)

Salary(commensurate depending on experience) : Up to $6500 + AWS + Bonus + 14 days Annual Leave.

Duration : Permanent

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for the sales growth and activities in assigned sales areas

Responsible for End-User, End-customer & Business Partner relations in assigned sales areas. Maintain existing and grow new business accounts.

Identify and follow up business opportunities in the assigned Sales area

Responsible for executing the country’s strategy in place and liaising with the Sales Manager

Prepare and present Commercial or Technical presentations to the customers

Responsible for the timely submission of sales proposals based on customer specifications and requirements

Responsible for negotiating and closing of sales in the assigned sales area in line with the annual sales targets of the organization

Responsible for follow-ups & progress of orders from the issuance of purchase contract to successful delivery

Attend trade show exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events.

Assist the department to organize exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

Act as the main contact with the customers in the event of any issues arising from the contract or order

Requirement

Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field

Relevant experience in the marine industry is required

Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders

Detail-oriented and able to work independently to meet sales targets

Willingness to travel overseas as required

Role requires travel to client sites; candidates should be able to commute efficiently
